One person even told me the battery was completely dead and that I’d need a tow and change the battery. This guy showed up and got my car started within just a few minutes. Had such a wonderful experience tonight with Winnipeg Boosting Services. My partner’s car wouldn’t start all day even after trying to boost it ourselves. We reached out via text to this company to see if a boost was even something that could rectify our problem. The individual who spoke with us was kind, friendly, knowledgeable and even offered to meet us same day after hours to see if he could help either way. In December my girlfriend’s car would not start. We figured just a dead battery as it was extremely cold outside and we didn’t plug the car in over night. We called Curtis and he was out to help us within 45 mins. He tested the battery for us, boosted the car but recommended we replace the battery regardless as it was almost 8 years old. He suggested a place to purchase a new battery. We saved another $150 with purchase and installation compared to Canadian Tire. Amazing service beyond what I expected and even went above and beyond to make sure my car started and got to the destination to get my battery replacement. Curtis is a great guy and is very knowledgeable and gives you all the details plus more on what to do next. If I could give more then 5 stars I would and for the price of the boosted start it beats any place offering boosting services and on top of things he was able to get to my vehicle quick so if I were anyone out there looking for a reliable guy to make the effort and give you knowledge you 100% call the number and talk to  Curtis he's your guy to help you out. It’s been probably one of the worst days I’ve had at work in a while, I get to my car after a long day - and my battery is dead inside my parkade, and a kind coworker’s boost didn’t work. I didn’t even know this service existed , I googled getting a CAA membership but then saw Winnipeg Boosting Services, read the reviews, texted and arranged to meet up in less than an hour, at 9pm at night ! Saved me from leaving my car downtown overnigh! It took longer to get my hood open (somehow it got stuck shut and had to be pried open, trust me it was a scene) than boosting my car, which started right up! AMAZING SERVICE. I texted them because I needed a quick boost. Curtis arrived within 30 minutes and had my car boosted in no time. GET THIS, my car was low on gas and it needed to sit there for awhile to run, so he followed me to the gas station just to make sure the car would started after I pumped gas. Curtis is AMAZING! Figured I would be waiting in the cold for hours as, of course, my car battery died on one of the coldest days. Curtis was quick to respond. He was across the city at another job but headed over right away and arrived in welllll under 30 minutes (totally unexpected!!) and pulled out all the stops to get my subborn vehicle to start. We thought it just wasn't going to happen and he decided to try one more thing... so glad he did because he got my vehicle going and I was on my way and out of the cold. Jan 14, 2025- Called in the morning as to boost my battery. Drove for 40 minutes and turned the car off.Had trouble restarting so I called Curtis again and without hesitant came back to reboost my battery . He then checked my battery and referred me to check my batteries. Curtis was really nice to deal with, on time and give you tips on how to maintain your batteries. Thanks Curtis. Called this company explaining i needed a boost and also told him my garage also said it could be the starter. Curtis told me if my car started with the boost that there was nothing wrong with the starter. He also found that my block heater wasnt working because the plug was just attached by 1 wire. I just had my car winterized 2 months ago. Surprised they didnt find that. Anyway fast, prompt service by this business. Highly recommend. Amazing service. My daughter's car battery was as cold as a stone. Curtis arrived quickly and had her car started after just a few minutes of setup. He also ran a diagnostic on her car battery and showed me that it was kaput (Curtis also pointed out physical signs of trouble on her battery that I hadn't recognized before). Went the extra mile to help me move my vehicle when it went from a normal boost to a realization that the battery was fully dead. Muscled my car out of the spot in neutral and then coached me to keep my revs going until I could get it to the street parking. My battery was near the end of its life and today's -30 C temperature was too much.  I was stranded at a strip mall and within 25 minutes my vehicle was boosted at a very reasonable price.  They even texted me when they were close so I could walk over from the coffee shop where I hanging out from the cold.  I hope I never have to use them again, but I certainly will if needed. THIS IS THE PLACE TO CALL TO BOOST YOU CAR BATTERY!! Our car was sitting dead in the garage - no power at all. We thought we would have to get it towed to the shop, but decided to take a chance that it might be possible to boost it. We had already tried to boost it from another vehicle and with our portable booster pack - no luck! We called Curtis at Winnipeg Boosting Service, and were surprised when he came out within half an hour. He got the car started on the first try!! When we told him we were going to take the car to get the battery replaced, he recommended we go to Prairie Battery on Border St. Thank God he suggested that! It turned out that it battery connectors were impossible to remove, and had to be replaced. We don't think another garage could have fixed it for us. Curtis is a very knowledgeble, professional & friendly person. I spent all day calling various towing companies to boost my car, but no lucky. Everybody said: "We are very busy and fully booked. Call us later." When I  called Curtis, he was busy as well, but he came right after helping another customer, and fixed my car. It ended up not being a battery problem, but instead he found out the block heater plug was malfunctioning. He also put some gas line antifreeze to be able to start the car. I tried to start my vehicle on Saturday, February 12, and it wouldn’t start. I called CAA only to find that they couldn’t likely attend for 400 hours. I neededed my vehicle fairly quickly so I called Winnipeg boosting services. Curtis came within about a half an hour and had me boosted within five minutes, checked my block heater to see if it was working and processed my bill. I have dealt with Winnipeg Boosting Services (WBS) on two separate occasions this Winter season and have nothing but good things to say after my experiences with them! On both occasions I was unable to start my car and had no one that was able to assist me at the time. I was able to text WBS and got a response almost instantly. I’ve dealt with CAA in the past and they would take up to an hour to respond/dispatch a truck and could take up to 3 hours to even reach me, especially during the Winter months. The great thing about WBS is that you get realistic time estimates and provide you with updates for any potential delays. It’s weird to say but I actually felt “supported” by WBS compared to CAA - the direct communication with them made it much more personable and professional. Another aspect of WBS that I loved was the advice they gave me was actually meant to help me rather than sell me a product or service. They were able to help me to understand what may be causing the issue. They checked my alternator and block heater cord to make sure everything was working correctly. As a result, I came to realize my block heater was not actually receiving power from my outlet. CAA had come out three times previously to me contacting WBS and no one had actually checked to see what might have caused my car not to start in mild temperatures. During the last occasion that I used their services, I was boosted, drove my car around for 30 minutes, went to gas up my car and as I went to leave it would not start again. I contacted WBS who gave me an estimate of about 45 minutes as they were already on another request that was outside the city. However, they ended up contacting me shortly after as they were able to shuffle their jobs around to stop by to assist me. I was only there for about 15-20 minutes; I was pleasantly surprised and so happy about the willingness to accommodate the last-minute request. That level of customer service is something I would never expect from most companies but it speaks volumes to their character as a business. I should mention too, if you still have a preference to use CAA WBS is able to provide a claim form for reimbursement. If you’re like me and you found this service through Google and are even a little bit skeptical, don’t be! I will continue to recommend this company to anyone who needs assistance and use them as my default service provider whenever I need a boost! :)

Wow!!!! Desperate to get my car battery boosted on a Sunday night, I called and had a live person answer within 3 rings. He said he could come right away, and asked for me to text me the address. Before I could even text the address, he immediately texted his info to my cell phone, also texted when he was 3 minutes away. Within 19 minutes of phoning, he was at my car with a mask on, and boosted my car immediately. He also offered to check the cord on my car to make sure it was working. Sunday 4:30, i tried 2 other places who offer 24 hrs service- BOTH replied after Winnipeg boosting services was already on his way to me. I run a 3 ton international boom truck I'm new in the business world but I know when I meet somebody who is dedicated and very good at what they do ,don't even bother calling anybody else Who claim 24 hours services but fail To mention part time .take  my word for it if you need a boost super affordable , top end equipment, boosts anything you have and I can't believe he was that cheap There's going to be a lot of hungry people in the battery boosting business with this cat around I'll tell you that. Thank you so much to this kind business man! I went out to run errands yesterday, and upon returning to my car, it would not start. I was freezing outside, stressed out being far from home and warmth, and having an overall horrible day. I called this business on a whim, after CAA gave me a 24hr wait time for a boost. The gentleman on the phone was kind, concerned for me, and showed up within 10 minutes of me calling him. He was able to jump my vehicle quickly, and when I asked him how I could pay for his service, he gave me a high five and went on his way. With the world in the state that it is, these interactions are feeling very few and far between. Thank you so much for helping me in a low moment and for changing the trajectory of my day. My semi died in coldest day of this year. I try to called dr.hook came help first. They did. But unfortunately they can’t help me to start my truck and they still charged service fee. They told me truck need to towing to warmer place and see what’s going on. I’m despairing until this gentleman coming. He’s doing wonderful job to me. Believe or not.
