Saved me from leaving my car downtown overnigh! It took longer to get my hood open (somehow it got stuck shut and had to be pried open, trust me it was a scene) than boosting my car, which started right up! I was stranded at a strip mall and within 25 minutes my vehicle was boosted at a very reasonable price. They even texted me when they were close so I could walk over from the coffee shop where I hanging out from the cold. I hope I never have to use them again, but I certainly will if needed. Patricia30 April 2022THIS IS THE PLACE TO CALL TO BOOST YOU CAR BATTERY!! Our car was sitting dead in the garage - no power at all. We thought we would have to get it towed to the shop, but decided to take a chance that it might be possible to boost it. We had already tried to boost it from another vehicle and with our portable booster pack - no luck! We called Curtis at Winnipeg Boosting Service, and were surprised when he came out within half an hour. He got the car started on the first try!! When we told him we were going to take the car to get the battery replaced, he recommended we go to Prairie Battery on Border St. Thank God he suggested that! It turned out that it battery connectors were impossible to remove, and had to be replaced. We don't think another garage could have fixed it for us. Curtis was very prompt, professional, friendly, and helpful beyond what he needed to offer us. We will definitely call him again in future, although with the help he gave us, we likely won't need to any time soon!! Call Winnipeg Boosting when you're battery fails you. Everybody said: "We are very busy and fully booked. Call us later." When I called Curtis, he was busy as well, but he came right after helping another customer, and fixed my car. It ended up not being a battery problem, but instead he found out the block heater plug was malfunctioning. He also put some gas line antifreeze to be able to start the car. Brandyn FitzPatrick1 February 2022I have dealt with Winnipeg Boosting Services (WBS) on two separate occasions this Winter season and have nothing but good things to say after my experiences with them! On both occasions I was unable to start my car and had no one that was able to assist me at the time. I was able to text WBS and got a response almost instantly. I’ve dealt with CAA in the past and they would take up to an hour to respond/dispatch a truck and could take up to 3 hours to even reach me, especially during the Winter months. The great thing about WBS is that you get realistic time estimates and provide you with updates for any potential delays. It’s weird to say but I actually felt “supported” by WBS compared to CAA - the direct communication with them made it much more personable and professional. Another aspect of WBS that I loved was the advice they gave me was actually meant to help me rather than sell me a product or service. They were able to help me to understand what may be causing the issue. They checked my alternator and block heater cord to make sure everything was working correctly. As a result, I came to realize my block heater was not actually receiving power from my outlet. CAA had come out three times previously to me contacting WBS and no one had actually checked to see what might have caused my car not to start in mild temperatures. During the last occasion that I used their services, I was boosted, drove my car around for 30 minutes, went to gas up my car and as I went to leave it would not start again. I contacted WBS who gave me an estimate of about 45 minutes as they were already on another request that was outside the city. However, they ended up contacting me shortly after as they were able to shuffle their jobs around to stop by to assist me. I was only there for about 15-20 minutes; I was pleasantly surprised and so happy about the willingness to accommodate the last-minute request. That level of customer service is something I would never expect from most companies but it speaks volumes to their character as a business. I should mention too, if you still have a preference to use CAA WBS is able to provide a claim form for reimbursement. If you’re like me and you found this service through Google and are even a little bit skeptical, don’t be! I will continue to recommend this company to anyone who needs assistance and use them as my default service provider whenever I need a boost! :)Posted on Google

I was freezing outside, stressed out being far from home and warmth, and having an overall horrible day. I called this business on a whim, after CAA gave me a 24hr wait time for a boost. The gentleman on the phone was kind, concerned for me, and showed up within 10 minutes of me calling him. He was able to jump my vehicle quickly, and when I asked him how I could pay for his service, he gave me a high five and went on his way. With the world in the state that it is, these interactions are feeling very few and far between. Thank you so much for helping me in a low moment and for changing the trajectory of my day. Your kindness and grace did not go unnoticed. I will forever recommend this business and will be saving his number to inevitably use his business again, and recommend to all those I know. But unfortunately they can’t help me to start my truck and they still charged service fee. They told me truck need to towing to warmer place and see what’s going on.
